Marshmallow is a company that aims to provide fair insurance prices for people who move to the UK. We use technology to serve people that are often overlooked by financial services companies, solving important problems for people who need it most. We are looking for a Junior Fraud Investigator within the Inscrime Team to help us identify potential application fraud, act quickly to remove fraudsters from cover and to work more widely with other departments to ensure we’re protecting ourselves as best possible from fraud.

The role entails investigating referred policies to decide whether there are fraud concerns and taking the appropriate action on the policy. You will be communicating with customers to request additional information, evidence or to share the outcome of investigations. You will also be responsible for looking out for any commonalities between policies that could be a fraud trend and sharing these with the team.

Job requirements include 6 months experience working in a risk-related role and experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. You should be naturally inquisitive, have an investigative mindset, and be confident in making quick decisions and solving problems.

Benefits include flexible working, a competitive bonus scheme, a flexible benefits budget, sabbatical leave, work from anywhere, mental wellbeing support, learning and development, private health care, a medical cash plan, and a tech scheme.

Please note that to meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don't have any live criminal proceedings.
