Role Summary

  • Lead and expand a high-performing sales team targeting mid-market care providers in the UK.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in B2B SaaS Sales, with a focus on Mid-Market or Enterprise.
  • Proven sales track record and adeptness in sales management, negotiation, and forecasting.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with senior executives in the care industry.
  • Capability to thrive in uncertain situations and create structured outcomes.
  • Commitment to being in the London office at least 3 days per week and willingness to travel within the UK (20%).

The role: As our Head of Mid-Market Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Birdie. Your mission will be to build, lead, develop and serve a high performing sales team, guiding them to continue Birdie’s growth with mid-market care providers across the UK. Your responsibilities will include building a deep understanding of Birdie’s market & target customers, developing a compelling sales narrative, ensuring we have the right sales processes & methodologies in place, and supporting your team to execute effectively.

Job requirements: Have 5+ years of sales leadership experience in B2B SaaS Sales, Mid Market or Enterprise, and experience in a quota-carrying role. Have a track record of success in sales, across both individual contributor and sales leadership roles, and is comfortable with key aspects of sales management including deal management, negotiation, and forecasting. Able to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives in the care industry. Comfortable with ambiguity; can create order out of uncertainty. Available to be in London office minimum 3 days per week. Willing to travel within the UK to meet customers & attend events (20%).
