Role Summary
- Collaborate closely with the CPO and product leaders to communicate and promote the product vision.
- Lead a talented design team spread across 6 cross-functional squads.
- Stimulate and direct excitement towards Birdie's product vision.
- Refine the product vision and foster a results-driven design team.
- Act as the authoritative voice of design and advocate for our users' needs.

The role - As our Head of Product Design, you will work with the CPO and product leadership to evangelise the product vision, inspiring all our audiences through the craft of product design. You will lead and coach a design team across 6 cross functional squads, driving excitement and alignment towards our product vision. Your responsibilities will include refining our product vision, inspiring a motivated outcome-driven design team, and being the voice of design and a champion for our users.
Job requirements - We are looking for someone passionate about the problem we are trying to solve, with a strong grasp of all aspects of product design. You should have experience working collaboratively with senior product and engineering leaders, leading and coaching a number of Product Designers, and working in a complex product environment.
