What will you be doing?
What will you do?
complete an introduction to Citizens Advice use your experience of managing devices and networks to advise and support existing IT staff in maintaining network documentation, monitoring and updating all devices inform on best practice and suggest and help to implement improvements on existing IT systems deliver one to one or group training about using Google Workspace and associated apps. together with existing IT staff, carry out technical inductions and account issue to new staff. produce instructions about how to do basic IT tasks to help volunteers and staff Help us achieve Cyber Essentials accreditation Repair and/or update existing hardware

What are we looking for?
What do you need to have? Ideally you’ll have a background in systems administration and networking obtained anywhere in the world (perhaps an early retiree who wants to keep their skills current) and need to:
be friendly, patient and approachable respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own have good verbal and written communication skills be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection be willing to undertake training in your role a familiarity with MDM software would be advantageous but is not essential.
