Role Summary

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose E-Commerce Assistant role is to ensure that the brand and our product is presented to both engage and convert our customer to purchase from the website. The E-commerce Assistant will be responsible for managing our online product content (imagery and copy) and support in other content management tasks as required. They will support the E-Commerce Team with the day-to-day running of our website; keeping it well merchandised, up to date and checking that all product information is accurate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting new product up on the website, following the product launch critical path and liaising with the Merchandising, Buying and Creative teams to make sure all assets required are received on time.
  • Maintaining the product catalogue, updating when needed and managing out of stock and old products.
  • Updating the homepage weekly in line with the promotional calendar.
  • Supporting in setting up promotions, sales and offers.
  • Daily checks and testing of the website, flagging any issues found as appropriate.
  • Uploading imagery to our ecommerce platform
  • Use analytics tools to understand performance of Landing pages, Product pages and Product category pages and drive ensuing actions

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FINISTERRE

  • You will be looking to start your career in E-Commerce and will be keen to learn about all aspects of our online business.
  • A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks and problem solving.
  • Organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate across different areas of the business.
  • Willingness to own and drive your personal development plan, and open to asking for and accepting feedback on performance
  • Commitment to inclusivity and sustainability, and social and environmental sustainability
  • Passion, energy and aspiration in line with Finisterre values, products, brand and customers
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Basic HTML knowledge.
