Job Title: Administrator - Motor Finance
Working Pattern: 36.25 hours per week. Contractual hours will include Monday to Sunday between 9am to 7pm. Core hours will be Monday to Friday with weekend work on a rota.
Salary: Up to £27,500 with up to 20% annual bonus and benefits
Location: Cardiff, Hybrid Working (1-3 days in the office)

We’re building an amazing team and we’re looking for a hardworking and driven Administrator to support our Sales team within our Motor Finance division. We will provide full training for this role! 

The main purpose of the role is to provide a support network for our field-based Account Managers and introducer partners, whilst also identifying new opportunities for the benefit of our customers and introducer partners.

The main purpose of the role is to provide a support network for our field-based Account Managers and introducer partners, whilst also identifying new opportunities for the benefit of our customers and introducer partners. 

You will be working as part of a smaller team supporting the overall company targets & objectives, giving you the opportunity to bring new ideas & experience to build out what is going to be a key part to our overall growth.

Your Impact: Building a greener tomorrow

As a Administrator at Tandem your focus will be on:

  • Offering excellent customer service as a point of contact for dealer, dealer group, brokers & customers.
  • Effectively communicating and interacting with all brokers, dealer and third parties in a timely manner and resolving any queries or issues providing one call resolution.
  • Effectively supporting dealer, dealer group and broker development & acquisition, maximizing sales efficiencies, commercial outcomes that meet regulatory, commercial and risk requirements.
  • Actively identifying new partnership opportunities and contacting potential new dealer, dealer group & brokers to educate them on our products and how we could positively change their business.
  • Interacting with non-supporting dealer, dealer group & brokers to recommence the working relationship.
  • Welcoming new dealer, dealer group & brokers to Tandem Motor Finance by ensuring all parties have what is required to meet regulatory, commercial and risk requirements.
  • Proactively contacting dealer, dealer group & brokers to follow up on outstanding requests.
  • Ensuring our Fair and Green outcomes are upheld and championed.
  • Maintaining an in depth and up to date understanding of Tandems products, commissions, processes, and services.
  • Creating new dealer/broker relationships.
  • Production of accurate weekly/monthly MI
  • Ensuring adequate staff resource is in place to support dealer, dealer group and brokers.

It would be great, but not essential if you have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a financial services lending environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial services and the regulated environment.
  • Experience of working in a team whilst promoting a culture of inclusion and idea innovation.
  • Good questioning techniques and investigative skills.
  • Ability to effectively provide constructive feedback to all levels.
  • Good organisational and time management skills resulting in the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to support and motivate a team to achieve positive results with a customer first approach.
  • Ability to interpret management information to deliver performance and confidently present results to Directors with a summary of remedial actions.
  • A flexible approach to meet the business needs and the ability to adapt and manage change/transformation.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy including working experience on Microsoft Office and lending hardware and software.
  • The desire to be an active team player.
