Role Summary

The role: As a Senior Internal Auditor based in Nairobi, Kenya, you will lead our internal audit activities. This position is crucial for professionals with a background in internal audit and team leadership, preferably within processing, retail, or multi-location environments. You will manage a country-based audit team, develop annual audit plans, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain strong partnerships with local leadership. This role involves regional travel and reports to the Internal Audit Manager.
Job requirements: Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, finance, or a related field, along with professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA. A minimum of 5–7 years' experience in internal auditing, including team leadership, is required. Experience in developing audit plans, assessing risks, resolving findings, and retail or similar multi-site operational experience with inventory audit experience is essential.
