The Role - Commissioning Editor, Education (Maternity Cover) This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Commissioning Editor with relevant publishing experience to join the dynamic Education team to cover a maternity leave, working across a range of secondary, primary and early years materials that include CPD books, teacher resources and home learning titles. The successful candidate will have experience in the education market, will be up to date with the latest education initiatives and be passionate about commissioning books for practising teachers and young learners that are fit for purpose, innovative and commercial.

Job Requirements - Strong editorial experience within Education publishing. Commercially astute with a track record in commissioning content. Experience with author management and contract negotiation. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Established network of contacts. Highly organised with exceptional editorial standards.
