Position: Partnerships Advisor Program: P4I Location: Bangkok, Thailand Duration: Initial engagement to June 2024, with possible extension. Full time or part time depending on the skills and availability of the ideal applicant. Reports to: Head of Regional Engagement

About P4I Partnerships for Infrastructure (P4I) is an Australian Government initiative partnering with Southeast Asia to drive sustainable, inclusive, and resilient growth through quality infrastructure. P4I partners with Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). P4I works with partners to strengthen infrastructure decision-making and practice across the transport, energy, utilities and telecommunications sectors.

Job requirements The Partnerships Adviser will support P4I’s engagement in Thailand, through providing analysis of Government priorities and reform initiatives in economic infrastructure, coordinating and managing key stakeholder relationships at senior levels of Government, and supporting technical teams to deliver P4I’s advisory work. The Adviser will work as part of the P4I Head Office in Bangkok, liaising closely with the Australian Embassy in Thailand and P4I colleagues across the region to build and maintain stakeholder relationships with relevant Government entities and officials.

Selection Criteria Qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., in economics, public policy, or a related field). Strong understanding of Thai Government infrastructure policy and context, with demonstrated experience in some or all of the transport, digital, energy, and public investment management fields. Strong relationship management skills, with existing networks of senior stakeholders in the Government of Thailand. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with Government (and Development Partners) on complex policy and reform issues, making sound judgments on priorities and risks. Excellent analytical, presentation, writing, and oral communication skills in both Thai and English.
