Role Summary:
- Lead and manage various communication activities, including Social Media, Internal/External Communications, Event Planning, and Content Production.
- Craft and share compelling stories, articles, and videos that showcase our global impact and learnings.
- Provide organizational structure in a complex, international setting, maintaining strategic content planning and tracking.
- Act as a proactive leader within a small team, supporting and sometimes directing communications strategies in the absence of the Head of Global Communications.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in communications, particularly in leading diverse communication activities.
- Strong strategic storytelling skills with the ability to engage and inspire project teams.
- Excellent organizational abilities with experience in a multi-country, multi-team environment.
- Leadership capabilities and initiative to support and guide communications efforts.

We are looking for an experienced, versatile communicator able to lead and manage a range of communication activities such as: Social Media, Internal and External Communications, Event Planning and Coordination, and Content Production.
You will be a strategic storyteller who can not only get our project teams excited about stories, articles, videos, and other materials that highlight our learnings or impact across the globe but also strategically works with them to collect, package, and amplify this information.
You will be an organisational talent who enjoys bringing structure into a complex, multi-country, multi-team environment and can help us stay on track by strategically planning, tracking, and managing content and its progress.
You will be a proactive leader who can take initiative in a small team and effectively support and occasionally lead in the absence of the Head of Global Communications in implementing (both internal and external) communications strategies and initiatives.

We are open to candidates based in the UK, or any of our ASI global hubs (Netherlands, Kenya, Pakistan, India or Turkey). You will work closely with our Head of Global Communications, who is based in Turkey.
