We bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, including parents, educators, researchers, UN agencies, corporate citizens, NGOs, and philanthropic foundations. Our mission is underpinned by values of kindness, inclusivity, and respect, with a primary focus on safeguarding children's well-being as they embark on their digital journey. Role Overview: As a Fundraiser at Power of Zero, you will play a pivotal role in securing sustainable income streams and securing development funding to expand our capacity in delivering impactful educational programs. This position is instrumental in supporting our mission to ensure children's well-being in an increasingly online world. While this role is voluntary, it offers the opportunity to join our dedicated team of volunteers and contribute significantly to our cause. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to generate revenue in support of Power of Zero's mission and objectives. Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other funding sources. Research and apply for grants, sponsorships, and other funding opportunities to support the organization's growth and initiatives. Collaborate with the executive team to create compelling fundraising materials, including grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor communications. Organize and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage existing supporters and attract new donors. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities, making adjustments as necessary to achieve fundraising goals. Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions, and other relevant data using fundraising software or databases. Represent Power of Zero at networking events, conferences, and other public forums to raise awareness and support for our cause.

Proven experience in fundraising, development, or related fields, preferably within the nonprofit sector. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Knowledge of fundraising best practices, including grant writing, donor cultivation, and event planning. Proficiency in using fundraising software, databases, and other relevant tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
