Volunteer PR and Online Marketing Expert

What will you be doing?

Working closely with Chiltern Arts' Creative Director, this role will include: - Assisting with production of Press Releases and related materials - Identifying opportunities in local and national publications to either promote events or to spread the word about our outreach activities, both online and in print  - Communicating with relevant printed and online magazines (including local eg. Parish Magazines) and newspapers with information about our events and outreach - Identifying the best places to list Chiltern Arts events online - Managing online listings for events on local and national 'Whats On' pages (or similar), including ensuring listings are up to date - Liaising with / promoting opportunities and events to local groups (eg. choirs, writing groups, U3A etc)

What are we looking for?

Chiltern Arts is looking for a PR and marketing expert who has experience working with classical music and / or literature events. The individual should be motivated and able to work independently, whilst keeping a small team up to date with progress and activities. Ideally the volunteer would be familiar with some or all of the towns and villages in which we deliver our work across the Chilterns, although living locally is not essential. Good IT skills (including use of Google Sheets, Dropbox and Zoom) and excellent written English are essential.
