Volunteer Volunteer Business Start up Mentor with RIFT Social Enterprise

What will you be doing?

At RIFT Social Enterprise, we are dedicated to empowering people to make a living doing something they love. We provide a holistic approach to business start-up and offer a tailored and personalised experience to all of our participants via 1:1 support with a dedicated Business Start-Up Advisor.   In addition to our current offering, we are looking to relaunch our Volunteer Mentoring Service, are currently seeking dedicated individuals from a range of sectors that would be willing to dedicate some time to mentoring our participants. This will be complimentary to their regular check ins with their Business Start-Up Advisor and they will be matched to you based on a need or requirement that matches up to your skillset. Our Mentoring Scheme is made up of no more than 4 sessions between a mentor and mentee, unless both parties agree to continue additionally and topics and direction will be agreed in the first meeting.  We are currently looking for Sector Specific Mentors including those with expertise within the fields of:   Catering/Hospitality Construction Consultancy Health and Beauty Arts     We are also looking for volunteer mentors with experience within:   Applying for grants/funding  Human Resources or L&D Finance Legal Marketing and Social Media

What are we looking for?

We're looking for sector experts within the aforementioned fields, with a strong desire to help others succeed.  Given the nature of the participants we work with, patience, understanding and empathy is a must!
