What will you be doing?

Our 'Brighter Futures: Compassionate Care for BPD' project will allow us to provide more support services to people with borderline personality disorder - services that are desperately needed in the UK. We are the only national non-profit providing specialist support services to people with borderline personality disorder. We are a small but ambitious organisation, volunteer-led, providing support and help that is often not available anywhere else. To keep providing services, and develop new ones, we desperately need to secure more regular donations and ongoing funding.  Can you help?   We would like to expand the expertise on our Fundraising Committee with 3 volunteer fundraisers.  We are looking for someone with a track record of working in fundraising in the charity or voluntary sector who feel s passionate about what we do in helping people with BPD - and would like to help us keep going.  As a non-profit we can offer you the experience of working with a hands-on and enthusiastic Board of Trustees and understanding how this small and impactful organisation works across all levels.  You will be part of a fantastic volunteer team, and will get full induction and training, as well as ongoing support.  If you feel this is the right role for you, apply today.  For more information on the 'Brighter Futures' project, please visit our website.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

has a good track record in fundraising for small non-profit organisations is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly can help promote our events and fundraising opportunities can work collaboratively with the fundraising committee and our Board or Trustees is passionate about our work, mission and values can act as an ambassador for the organisation is confident to work on own initiative has excellent written and communication skills

What difference will you make?

Your fundraising efforts will not only allow us to continue supporting the people we already do (we currently support around 200 people per month) but will also allow us to expand our services to help more people (including families and carers) across the UK who are impacted by borderline personality disorder.
