What will you be doing?

We are looking for passionate and experienced individuals to support the Collaboration For Kids (CFK) project.  You will lead the CFK Education Contents Team, inspiring creativity and ideas generation, defining and communicating team goals and strategy, building the best team, and managing the activities to achieve goals and meet commitments.  Duties include but are not limited to:

Leadership of the Content’s Team and its sub-groups Organising and leading meetings (weekly) Actively participating in the CFK Team Leader (TL) meetings as required by the CFK Leadership Team. Recruiting, structuring, organising, inspiring and leading a team to create and produce up-to-date, factual and evidence based nutrition and lifestyle education contents (The Contents Modules or 'The Songbook') that can form the basis of all interventions to be delivered by the delivery teams. Defining and communicating the team's goals based on ideas generated from within the team. Helping the team members to remain motivated and collaborate as necessary, to achieve the team goals Anticipating and initiating the need for support and input from the CFK Advisory Board (AB), the Data and Research Experts and other experts, as required, to ensure the team goals are met and the Contents Modules have the required technical and scientific backing from the AB and the CFK Data and Researchers. Anticipating and initiating collaboration with the other CFK teams - specifically the various Delivery Teams, the Data Team, Researchers, the Communications & Marketing and the Funding teams. Encouraging team members to seek beneficial partnership opportunities, external to CFK, where values align.  

There is also scope to expand this role to taking specific responsibilities related to Contents development and supporting the Contents writers or other creative or analytical activities within the team, as appropriate and desired.

They are passionate about helping to reverse the increasing rates of obesity in children and worsening physical and mental health in young people that can ultimately lead to serious health problems and reduced life-expectancy.
