Role Summary:

  • Teach English to international students for 3 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans appropriate for varying levels of English proficiency.
  • Monitor student well-being and ensure a supportive learning environment.

Role Requirements:

  • Must possess a CELTA, certTESOL, or equivalent ESL/EFL qualification.
  • Previous teaching experience required, preferably with international students.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work legally in the UK or the US without visa sponsorship.

ISSOS is looking for an English Teacher to provide an exciting and challenging syllabus where students can improve their conversational skills, including their grasp of colloquial language, develop their understanding and use of grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and listening skills.

The role entails teaching a class of international students, 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for the duration of the 3 week programme. You will be responsible for creating and executing interesting and engaging lesson plans, providing students with lessons tailored to their English ability, and ensuring students are safe and happy at all times.

Job requirements include a CELTA, certTESOL or equivalent ESL/EFL qualification. Previous teaching experience is essential and experience in teaching international students is preferred. You must either be a UK or a US citizen, or have the legal right to work in the country you are applying for a role in. Please note that we cannot sponsor visas for working in the UK.

Benefits include full bed and board at our campuses, plus fixed payment. Staff members receive reimbursement after the session. Travel reimbursements and any finders’ fees are paid separately. We provide accommodation in all locations for all staff. Meals are provided in the halls of residence once students arrive, however, staff are responsible for their meals during Orientation.

All of our staff must pass a full criminal background check. We provide full bed and board for you at our campuses, plus fixed payment. All staff are required to be on duty (on a rota basis) for evening programmes, activities, day trips and arrival/departure days.
