What will you be doing?
Our strategic plan is very much dependent on the sourcing of funds, community awareness and sound management of resources, all designed to help to support the delivery of a programme of enhanced facilities and ongoing opportunities for the youth in our catchment area. This calls for all Trustees to work closely together and supporting each other in the delivery of our plan.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for individuals who are very much team players, can contribute beyond their remit, and are prepared to get involved. Someone who is willing to get involved in discussion and debate and support solution finding with input and ideas. The trustees at Sutton Sea Cadets have a wide range of responsibilities including fiscal management, health & safety, premises management, fundraising, supporting the operational team, community awareness & involvement, compliance with both the rules set by the Charity Commission and the Sea Cadet Corps. Therefore, individuals with a general management background would very much suit the role of Trustee with us.
What difference will you make?
The Trustees are pivotal to achieving our aims by way of working with the operational team to highlight our needs, and to prioritise our objectives and source opportunities to continuously provide new opportunities for the young people in our community.
