Role Summary:

  • Develop and manage distributor relationships in Italy and Portugal.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities and channels to increase the availability of Heura products.
  • Forge partnerships for successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with the Trade team to create and apply channel-specific action plans.
  • Oversee Key Accounts, coordinating with various departments to streamline processes.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for Portugal, tracking performance indicators for volume, pricing, execution, and market share.

Role Requirements:

  • Alignment with Heura's mission and a GoodVibes approach.
  • A passion for the business and a deep understanding of market needs.
  • Prior experience in FMCG or high-growth startups preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, especially in foodservice.
  • Strategic thinking with experience in road-to-market plans and concept selling.
  • Experience with direct Key Accounts or distributors; plant-based food knowledge is a bonus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proficiency in Portuguese and Italian; fluency in English, Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Ability to build robust internal and external relationships.

And that’s why we are looking for a Food Service Key Account Manager for our Italy and Portugal markets! To join the Good Rebels team and help us achieve our mission through developing and managing distributors, fostering a sustainable business opportunity for our products. The successful candidate will actively explore new opportunities and channels to expand the presence of Heura products. Key responsibilities include creating partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure successful product launches, developing and implementing action plans for each channel in collaboration with the Trade team, and leading the development of Portugal and Italy.


  • Develop both existing and new distributors to generate sustainable business

  • Proactively search for new opportunities and channels to expand the presence of
    Heura products beyond traditional channels.

  • Create partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.

  • Develop and implement action plans for each channel in collaboration with the
    Trade team.

  • Lead and develop Key Accounts in Portugal and Italy

  • Coordinate effectively with different departments to establish processes for
    automating future opportunities.

  • Take charge of the Portugal Profit and Loss (P&L) and establish a working method
    to ensure precise tracking of all key performance indicators (KPIs) such as volume,
    price, execution, and market share.

  • Passion for the business and a deep understanding of it to make sure your job at this role is aligned to business needs and goals.

  • Previous experience in similar roles, ideally at an FMCG company or ahigh-growth startup.

  • +4 years of experience as a Key Account Manager for foodservice clients.

  • Strategic, analytical, and visionary individual with experience designing road-to-
    market strategic plans and concept selling.

  • Experience in managing direct Key Accounts or distributors is preferred, and
    experience with plant based food is a plus.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Native or proficient in Portuguese and Italian; fluent in English is a must.

  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

  • An analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.

  • Ability to prioritize and anticipate opportunities

  • Ability to create strong and trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
