What will you be doing?

We’d like you to offer your time to help GOSH Charity Special Events team translate descriptions of auction and raffle prizes into engaging and luxurious copy, to raise funds to support seriously ill children.   Activities could include: 

Reading and understanding the GOSH Charity brand and tone of voice guidelines  Reviewing descriptions of auctions and raffle prizes which may come in various written presentations e.g. bullet points, 1 or 2 lines of information, a link to a website, a long wordy piece of text    Writing engaging copy to inspire people to take part in the auction of raffle

Timings Our busiest times are usually around May-June, and September – March for this type of activity.   We anticipate that this activity may take around 10-20 hours over 2 to 3 weeks, occurring eight or ten times a year. We are open to offers from those wishing to help as a ‘one off’ for one event, or those who would like to support for several events across a year – or more!  We are flexible and happy to discuss the time to be offered with the individual(s).  #LI-Remote

What are we looking for?

·       Able to write clear and inspiring copy with good attention to detail, spelling and grammar ·       Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines ·       Experience of writing copy e.g. newsletters, websites, leaflets etc ·       Ability to follow our policies and procedures to keep you, our staff and volunteers, our patients and our supporters safe ·       Ability to represent GOSH Charity and our values positively.
