We invite a driven Export Area Manager to expand our reach within the vibrant DACH and Benelux markets from our Barcelona headquarters.

Role Summary:

  • Develop export strategies for growth in the DACH and Benelux regions.
  • Identify and partner with potential distributors to increase market presence.
  • Coordinate product launches and market penetration efforts.
  • Lead sales and marketing initiatives tailored to specific markets.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams for cohesive export plan execution.
  • Monitor KPIs and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.

Role Requirements:

  • Alignment with Heura's mission and a 'GoodVibes' attitude.
  • Proven experience in export management, preferably in FMCG or startups.
  • Over 5 years in a similar role focused on the DACH and Benelux regions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Fluency in English, with German and/or Dutch proficiency preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned regions.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to build strong, trustful relationships both internally and externally.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and results-driven individual to join our team as the DACH & Benelux Export Area Manager, based in our HQ in Barcelona. This role is crucial in expanding our presence in international regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing export strategies, establishing strong relationships with distributors, and driving sales growth.


  • Develop and implement effective export strategies for the DACH and Benelux regions to drive business growth.
  • Identify and evaluate potential distributors and establish partnerships to expand our market presence.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure successful product launches and sustained market penetration.
  • Lead and coordinate the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives tailored to the DACH and Benelux markets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of export plans.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of export initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to maximize sales and market share.

  • Previous experience in similar roles, ideally at an FMCG company or ahigh-growth startup.

  • +5 years of experience as an Export Manager/KAM in the DACH and Benelux regions.

  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing export strategies.

  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends in the DACH and Benelux regions.

  • Experience in managing direct retailers in this region as a Key Account Manager

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain effective relationships with distributors and key accounts.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.

  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German and/or Dutch is highly desirable.

  • Willingness to travel within the DACH and Benelux regions as needed.

  • An analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving mindset to approach everyday challenges.

  • Ability to prioritize and anticipate opportunities

  • Ability to create strong and trustful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
