  • Lead the Radio Frequency (RF) Payloads and Technology Division within ESA's Electrical Department.
  • Manage divisional resources and oversee cutting-edge space and ground RF technologies.

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field is a must.

We are currently seeking a Head of the Radio Frequency (RF) Payloads and Technology Division, based in our ESTEC establishment in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The Role: Reporting to the Head of the Electrical Department, the Head of the Radio Frequency (RF) Payloads and Technology Division is responsible for the management of the Division, its resources and activities. The Head of Division is responsible for the technical and strategic management of RF Payloads and Technologies for space and ground applications and the associated laboratory facilities.

Job Requirements: A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required for this post. Candidates should have extensive experience in one or more of the technical domains covered by the Division, proven experience of leading, motivating and developing a team of experts in a project or R&D environment, and the ability to provide strategic direction to the individuals and teams within the Division.
