The Role: As Head of the Future Programmes Office, you will be responsible for the activities in preparation of future navigation programmes and missions. This includes the elaboration and preparation of future navigation missions, including research, development and innovation initiatives, pre-developments and cross-directorate coordination of all new navigation technologies and advanced studies.

Job Requirements: You should have a master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience in space systems engineering with a systems orientation and an end-to-end view of satellite navigation projects is required. Deep technical knowledge of global navigation satellite systems and understanding of navigation-related technologies, R&D trends and the industrial landscape is essential. Experience in the preparation of procurement activities for technology development and innovation, experience with laboratory activities and field testing of relevant technical equipment, and experience in technical cooperation with international partners is also required.
