  • Support ScaleUp INVEST activities, like Space Market Research and Business Analysis.
  • Engage in Communication and Relationship building with Industry leaders.

  • Assist the Innovation and Technology leads on Innovation studies, Technology trends, and identifying potential partner companies.
  • Must be currently enrolled at university for the duration of the internship.
  • Preferably in the final or penultimate year at master’s level in a technical or scientific discipline.
  • Proficiency in English or French is required, additional ESA Member State language skills are beneficial.

The role

The intern will be based at the ESA HQ in Paris, France or the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands. The intern will be involved in supporting ScaleUp INVEST activities, including Space Market Research and Business Analysis, Communication and Relationship with the Industry, and Reporting and Business Accelerator. The intern will also support the Innovation and Technology leads of the Innovation unit on matters such as Innovation studies, Technology trends and spin-in opportunities, and Identification of candidate companies.

Job requirements

The intern must have student status and be enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship. The intern should preferably be in their final or second to last year of a university course at master’s level in a technical or scientific discipline. The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
