We are at an exciting juncture, especially with the upcoming General Election, and we’re searching for a passionate Head of Public Affairs to lead us through this critical period.

As Head of Public Affairs, you will lead public affairs strategy and delivery ahead of the General Election. You’ll do this to build cross political party support for Teach First, grow our reputation and achieve policy change.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a commitment to Teach First’s mission of delivering a fair education for every child. The ideal candidate will have led high-profile political campaigns and public affairs strategies that achieve results. You should be a great line manager and excellent project manager, who knows how to develop and motivate a thriving team, whilst keeping stakeholders engaged in fast paced projects. Outstanding political instincts and the ability to communicate complex information quickly and clearly are essential. Sharp analytical skills and experience delivering cross-audience campaigns are also required.
