A little bit about us Stashbee buzzed onto the scene in 2017 with one vision in mind: to put the world’s unused space to good use. Our co-founders David & Anthony both had subpar experiences as customers of self-storage, and asked themselves “what if there was a one-stop shop for space?”. A way to connect those with spare space to anyone in need of it. More choice, a variety of locations, a wider range of prices, coated with a simple and smart user experience, served alongside impeccable customer service. That’s what we’re building here at Stashbee. A tech enabled global community connecting people with space to those who need it. Stashbee is the simplest, smartest, most sustainable way for anyone to share and fill storage space. Today, we have millions of square feet of space on our platform, making us the fourth largest storage provider in the UK. We’ve empowered our Host community to earn millions of pounds from their unused spaces by connecting them with Renters who need it. Our spaces have been used for everything: household items stored during moves and refurbishments, stock for businesses on the up, classic cars, movie props… We’ve even stored several tonnes of chocolate! We’ve now expanded beyond garages to provide parking, shipping containers and many other space types. Our ambitions are huge and we’re just getting started. Dare we say… watch this space.

The role The Digital Content Executive at Stashbee will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling, high-quality, SEO-optimised content across various digital channels. The ideal candidate is not only a gifted writer, but also has a keen understanding of digital marketing trends, SEO best practices, and analytics. Your role will be crucial in enabling us to meet our ambitious target of driving engagement and doubling website traffic in the next 9-12 months.

Job requirements We’re looking for a passionate content writer to join our team. If the following sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you: You have proven experience (4+ years) of creating high-quality written content in a variety of formats, including web pages, blogs, email campaigns, press releases, and social media. You’re able to provide a range of previous written work and demonstrate that you are adaptable when it comes to style and that you can use a broad and diverse vocabulary. You’re able to show us that you have a track record of developing and executing content strategies that drive tangible business results. You’ve got a strong knowledge of SEO principles and have experience of successfully applying these principles in your content writing (e.g. via keyword research, meta description optimisation, and heading structuring). You are proficient with SEO tools (e.g. Semrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console) and performance analysis tools like Google Analytics. You are experienced in using data-driven insights to refine content strategy and optimise results. You are familiar with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp and Brevo. You have experience in creating content for company social media profiles and have an understanding of the nuances and best practices of different platforms. You’re passionate about writing copy that’s succinct, clear and helpful for customers. You have a creative mind and are able to come up with interesting and engaging written content. You have a keen eye for detail and are a stickler for brevity, clarity and grammar in your writing. You have an “I’ll figure it out” mentality. You’ll ask for help if it’ll be quicker, but if you can just as easily figure it out yourself, you’ll do that. You work well under pressure, can think on your feet, are proactive, and manage your time well. Multi-tasking is essential, as well as being able to prioritise your own work-load appropriately. You’re eager to learn and get energised by exchanging ideas and working collaboratively with other team members. You are curious about and have some experience using Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to speed up your creative process (e.g. helping with idea generation, research, and copy drafting). You have an eye for graphic design and have at least some experience with basic video editing. If you have previous experience of working with PR agencies, this will be beneficial, but not essential.
