Role Summary

  • Contribute to the delivery of premier products, services, and strategic sustainability projects.
  • Engage in technical product development and support clients with resource consumption data analysis.
  • Utilize client-facing and proprietary tools to analyze and report on sustainability metrics.
  • Collaborate with existing and potential clients, partners, and team members, fostering trust and strong relationships.

Role Requirements

  • Degree (Level 6 or higher) in a relevant technical or engineering field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum one year experience in building facilities, technology assessment, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in building services, HVAC systems, low-carbon technologies, and performance analysis.
  • Fluency in English and exceptional analytical skills for building performance and resource data tracking.

The Role - Consultant, Building Technology and Carbon Efficiency

As a Consultant, Building Technology and Carbon Efficiency, you will be part of Considerate’s Data Team and report to the Senior Sustainability Data Manager. Your role will involve supporting the delivery of high-quality products, services, and strategic projects with a focus on technical delivery and product development. You will also support clients with ongoing resource consumption data analyses, using client-facing and in-house tools. Key to the role is effective communication coupled with a technical mindset and the ability to build trust and rapport with existing and prospective clients, partners, and the team.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a level 6 (or higher) degree in a relevant technical or engineering field or equivalent experience in technical facility operations. You should also have at least one year of work-based experience in building facilities, technology assessment or engineering, including technical knowledge of building services, HVAC equipment, low-carbon technologies, and typical arrangements. Fluent written and spoken English and demonstrated analytical skills relating to building performance and resource data tracking in commercial buildings are essential.
