ProVeg International is a global food awareness organisation dedicated to transforming the global food system by promoting plant-based and cultivated alternatives to animal-based products. Our mission in Poland, through the flagship program 'Szkoła na Roślinach' (Plant-Powered Schools), is to enhance the quality and sustainability of school nutrition by supporting schools, kindergartens, and caterers in adopting healthy and tasty plant-based meals. With new regulations from the Ministry of Health mandating a plant-based meal per week by September 2026, our role has expanded to include strategic advocacy and practical implementation to ensure a smooth transition for schools.
The role: As a Programme Outreach Coordinator, you will be pivotal in liaising between the new government regulations and school kitchens to ensure they are prepared for the upcoming standards. Your responsibilities will include proactive engagement with school caterers and administrators, relationship management, and on-the-ground presence to foster trust and support within the community. You will also provide expert advice, manage project logistics, and gather content for PR purposes.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, fundraising, or community engagement, preferably within educational institutions. You should possess excellent communication skills, be proactive and independent, and have a knack for managing logistics and creating engaging content. Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot and tech tools such as G-drive and Wrike is essential. A willingness to travel and proficiency in English are also required.
Benefits: Working with us, you will directly contribute to a historic shift in the Polish education system, impacting millions of children. We offer health and wellbeing support, flexible work arrangements, and a supportive culture with opportunities for professional growth. You will also have access to medical and health insurance packages and mental health resources.
