Role Summary
- Design unique and bespoke travel itineraries for the Africa region, with a focus on authenticity and responsible travel practices.
- Transform high-value leads into bookings, establishing lasting relationships with clients.
- Know and understand the travel aspirations of guests through regular, thoughtful conversations.
- Inspire clients with a rich knowledge of Africa and passionate storytelling skills.
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 18 months experience in travel sales, preferably with a focus on Africa.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), proactive approach, and teamwork spirit.
- A personable and curious nature, passionate about building relationships.

The role: As a Senior Travel Designer specializing in Africa, you will create unique and personalized travel itineraries that showcase authentic, meaningful experiences across the Africa region, always designed with responsible travel practices in mind. You will play a key role in converting high-value leads into bookings by building deep, trusting relationships with our clients. Through frequent, thoughtful phone conversations, you will get to know our guests and understand their motivations and travel aspirations. You will inspire them through your extensive regional knowledge, passion for exploration, and ability to craft truly exceptional journeys.
Job requirements: We are looking for an experienced, curious, and genuine people-person who thrives on connecting with Jacada guests and cultivating long-lasting relationships. Candidates should have a minimum of 18 months of experience in travel sales, ideally with a focus on the Africa region or a strong equivalent background. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a proactive, team-player attitude.
