About the role: The Team – The Romanian offices (one in Bucharest, and one in Timisoara) are highly productive and dynamic businesses, employing over 450 people through two main brands, Morningstar and Sustainalytics. We create outstanding products and offer them to the market alongside our excellent data, analysis, and client relationship services. The Corporate team unites a variety of functions at Morningstar including compliance, corporate communications, design, facilities, finance, human resources, legal, marketing, quality, strategic planning, and technology with the goal of keeping our business running smoothly.

The Role – The Facilities Manager is key to keeping a pristine space for our customers, employees, and partners. Amongst other key requirements, you will oversee the management of our facilities in Bucharest and Timisoara. Our facilities are an important contributor to making Morningstar a great place to work and visit as a client, job applicant, or vendor. As important is our ability to continue key business processes even when our facilities are not available or accessible. The role is a full-time job based in Bucharest or Timisoara, 5 days a week in the office.

Job requirements: Fluent in Romanian and English. A minimum of 5-year experience in facilities and/or operational management. Customer-oriented with a strong service mentality. Must be a results-driven, process-oriented individual obsessed with continuous improvement. Strong problem-solving skills – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and skillfully analyzes information. Strong planning and organizational skills – the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans. Ability to adapt – the individual will need to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible in adopting changes quickly. Strong collaborator and superior leadership – demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus around new ideas and methods at all levels of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s degree. Nice to have: Certification(s) related to Facilities Management.
