What difference will you make?

You will work alongside our volunteer trainer and trustee (retired headteacher) to help us deliver more workshops into schools.  Through our core work of providing 1-1 support in primary we have quickly realised that students haven't developed strong literacy skills in primary school, they are struggling to keep up with the more advanced reading and writing demands in secondary school so we have expanded our services by providing buddy workshops and workshops to parents but we need more people to help us deliver this project....feedback from students.

It was interesting and enhanced my understanding of reading. It was helpful and made me understand many ways that of how I can help others improve their reading. It was SO interesting and helpful Very good, maybe should have girls with girls and boys with boys I learnt many ways in which to help different kinds of learners.  I also thought of fun ways to engage with them It was clear and practical, used all forms of learning audio, visual, kinaesthetic).
