Role Summary
- Build relationships with existing customers to enhance their product usage and support their services.
- Conduct FCA-compliant sales processes to highlight our product's value to new clients.
- Collaborate with insurance and customer success teams to discover new business opportunities.

Role Requirements
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales within Insurance and/or Lettings.
- Exceptional ability to quickly establish rapport and trust with customers over the phone or in person.
- Target-oriented mindset with resilience and motivation to excel under pressure.
- Experience in a fast-paced, autonomous environment is essential.

Insurance Business Development Manager
📍 Based 1 days in our Lincoln office the other days remote.
Our mission:
- One in five people in the UK rent their homes. Goodlord's mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world 🌎
- We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠
- Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350 Goodlordians supporting the mission! 💚
The Opportunity:
- Working with current customers to analyse their current product use whilst looking for opportunities to support their overall proposition
- Following an FCA-compliant sales process to promote the value of our product to new customers
- Working with the wider insurance and customer success teams to identify further opportunities
- A competitive environment where success is measured against sales performance, customer satisfaction and your ability to follow regulated processes
What we need from you:
- Proven success in closing B2B sales both up-selling and cross-selling - this must be Insurance and/or Lettings focused
- Ability to establish rapport and trust with customers quickly and efficiently over the phone (and in some cases, face-to-face)
- Target driven mentality with the ability to stay motivated and resilient even under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, autonomous environment.
