Role Summary:

  • Negotiate resolutions in rent and legal protection insurance claims.
  • Handle insurance claims processes from initiation to conclusion.
  • Manage repayment arrangements following claim resolutions.
  • Respond to inquiries from various stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in debt recovery or similar dispute resolution within a regulated environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in numeracy and various IT/software systems in a dynamic, autonomous setting.
  • Prior experience in the lettings industry or insurance sector is a plus, but not mandatory.

📍 Lincoln based 2 days a week with 3 days working remotely

Insurance Claims Facilitator - working as part of the Rent and Legal Protection Insurance Claims team

Our mission:

  • We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠
  • Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350 Goodlordians supporting the mission! 💚

The Opportunity:

  • Responsible for negotiating a resolution between landlords, guarantors, letting agents and tenants
  • Supporting all insurance aspects of the claims process from submission to conclusion of the claim
  • Overseeing repayment arrangements in the result of a resolution.
  • Responding to inbound queries from internal and external stakeholders

What we need from you:

  • Experience within debt recovery (or similar dispute resolution role) in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships quickly and effectively
  • Strong numerate and IT literacy skills, working with various software packages in a fast paced, autonomous environment.

It would be great if (but not essential):

  • You have previously worked in the lettings industry or within an insurance environment.
