- Conduct bespoke research projects for public sector clients, analyzing data and writing analytical summaries.
- Engage with clients to pitch and manage research projects, from inception to successful delivery.
- Create compelling tenders and showcase our expertise and value proposition in response to bids.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in research and consultancy.
- Experience with public sector clients and client-facing roles.
- Strong analytical skills, with an ability to understand and interpret data.
- Excellent relationship-building and project management capabilities.

Quick disclaimer: This is not scientific research or management consultancy, but has elements of both (pretty great right?). You’ll work with clients to pitch them research projects and reports, and you’ll also help manage delivery of the research, analysing Beauhurst’s big dataset and writing analytical summaries.

Our online platforms help our clients to discover, track and understand these companies, and our Research & Consultancy team provides bespoke research, analysis, and reports. We work with venture capital firms, big financial institutions, major banks, leading universities, and the Government to help them find and work with companies that drive disruption and innovation across the economy.

🥖 The Role
Our Research and Consultancy team uses our data to provide bespoke projects for our clients, helping them to understand the most exciting businesses in the UK, and the ecosystem around them.
Day-to day, your responsibilities will include:
🎯 Targeting and selling bespoke projects to public sector clients.
🔎 Conducting in-depth reports on business populations.
📊 Managing and part-delivering bespoke projects, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
📝 Crafting persuasive tenders in response to bids, showcasing our expertise and value proposition effectively.
🫵 About you
We’re looking for a brand new senior research & consultancy person with at least three years of relevant experience to devise projects and pitch them to our high-profile clients.
Ideally, you’ll have some experience working with public sector clients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs and challenges. You’ll also have previous client-facing experience or skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Ideally, you’ll be:
- A natural people person: You find it easy to get on with all sorts of people and like the idea of working with lots of different clients
- Ambitious: You go above and beyond what is asked of you and are excited to develop your own projects & hit targets
- Analytical: You like working with data and can take meaning from the numbers.
- A self-starter: capable of thriving in an autonomous role and driving initiatives forward independently
