Role Summary
As a Business Mentor, you'll guide young adults through the transformative process of turning their entrepreneurial ideas into reality. This support includes:
- Guiding former participants of the King's Trust Enterprise programme
- Meeting with at least two mentees per month
- Providing insight and feedback in-person or online, mostly in Liverpool
Role Requirements
Seeking candidates with:
- Passion for youth development, with emphasis on those facing personal challenges
- Understanding of business fundamentals with flexibility in application
- Experience beyond their industry, preferably in finance, legal, commercial premise, social media, website design, marketing, and copyright trade

The King's Trust is dedicated to supporting young people who face significant barriers to jobs, education, or training. Our volunteers are crucial to our mission, providing a vital support network across the UK.
The role: As a Business Mentor, you will guide young adults who have completed the King's Trust Enterprise programme. This initiative helps 18 to 30-year-olds transform their business ideas into reality. Post-launch, these entrepreneurs are paired with Business Mentors like you to navigate the early stages of their business. You will meet with at least two mentees monthly, offering support either online or in public spaces in Liverpool. Your goal is to inspire and encourage, providing feedback that fosters learning and growth.
Job requirements: We seek volunteers who are passionate about aiding young people, especially those overcoming personal challenges. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of business fundamentals and the ability to apply this knowledge creatively and flexibly. Experience outside your industry is also valuable, particularly in finance, legal, commercial premises, social media, website design, marketing, and copyright trade.
