Role Summary:

  • Provide a full spectrum of HR support across North America and Canada, enhancing employee experience and performance.
  • Act as a People Partner to various client groups, aligning HR strategies with business objectives and fostering high engagement.
  • Advise on performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Develop and implement scalable HR policies and programs in line with the global agenda.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and collaborate with Legal on regulatory matters.
  • Leverage data and metrics to drive decisions and improve operational performance.
  • Execute strategic HR initiatives while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Role Requirements:

  • Solid experience in HR, preferably within fast-paced tech companies and established organizations.
  • Knowledge of US State legislation and experience handling complex cases.
  • Ability to create and maintain a fun, high-performance culture.
  • Expertise in scaling people programs such as employee relations, benefits, payroll, and HR compliance.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

We’re looking for an HR Generalist to join our US People team and help make DICE a great place for our employees to work and grow.

About The Role

Reporting to the US Head of People, you’ll be responsible for both; People Partnering client groups, and the end-to-end employee journey for all employees across North America and Canada. From onboarding to offboarding, you’ll develop a high-performance employee experience in close partnership with the People, Talent, and DEI teams. You’re highly commercial and use data to make well-informed decisions and develop strategies, and you’ll be just as passionate about fostering a fun DICE culture as you are about the work you do.

You’ll be

  • Ensuring that the North American and Canadian region delivers an exceptional employee experience and high performance and through highly efficient operating practices 
  • Partnering with business leaders, managers and employees both regionally and with business clients groups to support the delivering of our business goals and high engagement.
  • Partnering with and advising leaders and managers on all things people-related, such as performance management and coaching, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Designing and implementing DICE HR policies, programs and benefits that are fit for scale, in collaboration with the global agenda for the People and DEI teams.
  • Collaborating with Legal to ensure DICE is compliant with all federal, state and local labor regulations, eg, wage regulations, equal employment opportunity laws, etc.
  • Driving decisions through key metrics and KPIs to improve visibility on performance and productivity across the operational teams.
  • Thoughtful and will plan with a strategic view, you'll also be operationally executing multiple priorities to a high standard

You’ll need

  • To be an advocate for a diverse and equitable culture, policies, processes and programs, with a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • A proven track record as a Mid-Senior HR professional, preferably with a mix of experience in rapid-growing technology companies and more established organizations.
  • To demonstrate adding value to the organization through commercial business partnerships
  • Broad US State legislation experience and dealing with complex cases up to a senior level 
  • Experience in developing and evolving a fun and high performing culture
  • Experience implementing or improving people programs that operate effectively at scale including; employee relations, benefits mgt, payroll, the compensation review process, and HR compliance.
  • To have experience in designing clear people processes.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

In compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. We note the salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary from posting based on location. We will consider various factors to determine the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training, and business considerations.

We recognize the benefits of hybrid working, and want to create the best balance to ensure we can continue working together effectively. For our NY team, we have a hybrid work policy of three days in the office (Monday to Wednesday) and two days work from anywhere (Thursday to Friday).
