Role Summary:

Role Requirements:
- Prior experience in data or analytics engineering, preferably in a start-up.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Familiarity with ELT tools such as dbt, Fivetran, or Stitch.
- Adept in problem-solving.

As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll be responsible for staging, transforming and modelling source data to produce clean, certified datasets in our data warehouse that can be used to generate critical analysis. You’ll work with stakeholders from across the business with a range of skills and needs, gathering their requirements and getting the right data to the right place at the right time.
Job requirements include experience in a data or analytics engineering role, ideally in a start-up environment, excellent SQL, with strong Python skills a plus, previous experience with data cloud tech like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks, knowledge of ELT tools like dbt, Fivetran, or Stitch, and strong problem-solving skills.
Benefits include a salary of £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience, 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, and a day off on your birthday, £300 towards your working from home setup and a company laptop, £300 to spend on wellbeing and £300 to spend on learning and development each year, a company pension with contributions matched up to 6%, enhanced parental leave and pay, life insurance, cycle to work and EV schemes, employee discount on Modern Milkman products, up to 4 weeks working abroad, and 2 volunteering days per year.
