Volunteer Fundraising research/Bid Writing/Grant Assistance - home based opportunity

What will you be doing?

We are a very small team of volunteers in the UK and Romania, passionate about animal welfare and the rescue dogs and cats in our care. Being entirely self funded we rely totally on our own fundraising and social media platform to help us with the daily and ongoing care needs of our 100+ dogs and cats.  We are searching for someone with a similar passion, who has the knowledge and experience to guide us on our journey, assisting with researching suitable funding options, charitable funds and grants to further assist the work we can do, and maximise our fundraising for 2024. Whilst we know all about the animal side of things, we are not experienced with fundraising, so really need your help. 

What are we looking for?

Excellent attention to detail, experience of drafting and writing applications for fundraising grants via foundations/charitable organisations, bids etc and an awareness of potential fundraising avenues and opportunities. As our charity volunteers are all home based, the use of of your own computer is essential. Initially we are looking at a few hours a month, potentially more or less depending on the agreed plan of action needed to get us in the right direction.   This is a remote/home based opportunity

What difference will you make?

You will help us build on our current work through your fundraising expertise, helping our long term plans come to fruition.  We hope to extend and further improve on our sanctuary improving the living conditions for the dogs and cats which cannot be rehomed to have an enriched daily life, something that has been put on hold while we try and cover the rising daily costs for the charity
