What will you be doing?
We are seeking a trustee who shares our vision on inclusive and accessible music education, and who is keen to share their expertise in Individual giving and corporate fundraising. You will work from home and visit our lessons or concerts once per year. Your key responsibilities will include:
Researching and approaching corporate entities Approaching appropriate individual donors Writing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals for funding
What are we looking for?
Keen interest in inclusive education and opportunities for young people, within music education or beyond. A good level of written and oral communication Experience in building a network of donors; individuals or corporations An ability to present and engage potential partners/sponsors in a compelling way An ability to work under your own initiative Happy to work from home Able to travel to Islington at least 1x per year to visit on site lessons or a concert
What difference will you make?
Arco is a small music education charity, with 3 trustees and approximately 48 students. For us to grow, we need to learn about fundraising outside trusts and foundations, and we would love you to join us on our mission to reach more young people, and make our music education offer as complete as we want it to be. As a trustee focused on Individual giving and corporate fundrasing, you will be able to help us gain the needed funding and by doing so, help us reach more families. You will work directly with our CEO and board of trustees.
