The Role Join the V&A Technology team during this exciting phase of growth! Technology is at the heart of the V&A's operations, facilitating the achievement of our strategic goals. As a member of our dynamic team, you'll play a vital role in supporting V&A technology and ensuring the delivery of key technology services aligned with business needs.

We are currently seeking a skilled Technology Support Engineer to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily deployment and operational support of the V&A's technology estate, encompassing Windows laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, and macOS desktops and laptops across both public and non-public spaces. Working alongside a team of nine, you'll provide support during the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 16:15 on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays. Additionally, this role requires rotational weekend duty, with one weekend worked in every six. This is an onsite role you will be required to work across our various V&A sites.

Job requirements •Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (M365) administration. •Experience in supporting Windows laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile devices, and macOS systems. •Demonstrated ability to provide technical support for business applications, point-of-sale equipment, and audio-visual equipment. •Proven experience in impact assessment and change management processes. •Experience with MECM and Intune •Experienced and confident in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues •ITIL Certified •Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
