We’re looking for an experienced marketing/PR exec to work for 1-3 days (over the next month) on a strategy for the next 6-12 months.  This is a short-term strategy project although we’d welcome anyone that is also interested in working with us longer term (but this is not necessary). The strategy is to support the following aims: 1.    Help us find fee paying clients to help us create income – we do this through one to one  / group coaching services and networking events 2.    Help to get our message out about a) how support can help neurodivergent adults, particularly in the wake of a dramatic increases in new adult diagnoses and b) inform people of the support we’re offering 3.    Create a sense of belonging and support through our membership and social activities   Strategy we’d like support with: o   How to engage our followers and encourage engagement o   How best to manage email and social media campaigns as well as our current website. o   Help us put together a plan for digital marketing employee/volunteer to execute #LI-Remote

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who: ·       Has the ability to quickly understand the needs of our organisation ·       Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements ·       Understands the resource constraints of a small non-profit and can work within these ·       Has a willingness to show empathy and support neurodivergent adults, (autism, ADHD and dyslexia and so on). ·       Has experience of building strategies to increase impact, increase social media following, plan social media strategy and engage an audience. ·       Experience of planning PR content would also be very useful.

What difference will you make?

In short, your input will make a radical difference to the way we communicate our mission and enable us to reach more neurodivergent adults.   Many of these individuals have grappled with mental health challenges stemming from a lifetime of feeling misunderstood by themselves and others   It will transform how we present ourselves to our service users, stakeholders, funders, the general public and make sure our project is sustainable.
