Volunteer Chair

What will you be doing?

The current challenge is to focus the charity on running successful services and developing partnerships across Hampshire for Community Voluntary services in the light of Hampshire County Council withdrawing funding from 2025. The role of Chair will require a time commitment of a day a week or equivalent whilst the charity is refocused.  The work will involve running the Executive Committee consisting of Senior Management and some Trustees, plus the normal duties of a Chair as on the role profile.

What are we looking for?

 A senior role in business or local authority or similar with experience of setting strategic direction and implementing organisation change.

What difference will you make?

The Charity is facing funding issues due to County Council withdrawing all funding next year so the need is to focus the charity on its operational services it can deliver and look outwards for partnerhips and support for the voluntary sector. This is a vital role to focus the charity for the future.
