Role Summary

  • 7+ years in data/analytics engineering with hands-on SQL expertise.

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with ETL processes and SQL frameworks like dbt.
  • Commitment to data governance principles and passion for data quality.

  • Expertly design data models (Snowflake, Star, Data Vault 2.0) for clean data structures.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of large-scale data warehouses.
  • Track downstream usage and feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Excel in SQL with proficiency in window functions, STRUCT/ARRAY manipulation, and query optimization.
  • Adhere to and promote performance best practices based on specific database engine requirements.
  • Embrace a passion for data cataloging, metadata management, and adherence to data governance principles.
  • Design systems with a test-driven approach for trapping bad-quality data and highlighting alerts.
  • Utilize tools like dbt for building efficient data transformation pipelines.
