The Literacy Pirates is an innovative charity dedicated to collaborating with schools, raising funds, and mobilizing volunteers to make a substantial impact on literacy development. We're on the lookout for a dynamic Head of Partnerships & Development to steer our growth and amplify our mission.

Role Summary:

Role Requirements:

  • Ambitious and proactive attitude with a track record in partnership development.
  • Availability for full-time, permanent work with core hours from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Willingness to work flexibly from Hackney and home, or remotely with monthly travel to Hackney.

We are The Literacy Pirates, an exciting charity that works with schools to raise funds and recruit volunteers. We are currently seeking a bold and ambitious individual to join us as our Head of Partnerships & Development. This is a senior role within our organization where you will be responsible for forging new partnerships that will enable us to expand our reach and impact.

The Role: As the Head of Partnerships & Development, you will be tasked with building and growing partnerships. This role is crucial to our mission as it will help us work with more schools, recruit more volunteers, and raise more funds. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role and must be comfortable working in a pirate hat!

Job Requirements: We are looking for someone who is bold, ambitious, and has experience building and growing partnerships. The role is full-time and permanent, with core hours of 11am-7pm, Monday to Friday. We are committed to flexible working requests and the role can be performed from Hackney and home, or completely remote with travel to Hackney monthly.
