The King's Trust is excited to offer a Finance Apprentice position at our Digbeth Centre in Birmingham. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals at the start of their career, particularly those who have recently completed college or participated in a King's Trust program. As a Finance Apprentice, you will be involved in various functions of our finance department, including statutory reporting, management accounts, suppliers and payments, invoicing and debtors, and supporting the month and year-end processes.
The role is designed for candidates with little to no previous work experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess GCSE English and Maths (Level 4 or A-C grade) or equivalent. This full-time position requires the apprentice to study one day per week towards the Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting.
We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to learn our IT systems, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. The selection process includes an assessment day and final interviews, with the successful candidate expected to start in September 2026. This 18-month fixed-term contract may lead to a permanent position and further progression depending on the needs of the Trust.
