Role Summary:
- Supporting various elements of our finance department including reporting, accounting, payment, invoicing.
- Engaging in the month and year-end processes.
- Studying one day per week towards the Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting within full-time work commitment.
Role Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- GCSE English and Maths (Level 4 or A-C grade) or equivalent qualifications are required.
- No previous work experience necessary.
- Possess strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
- Eager to master our IT systems for efficient operations.

The King's Trust is excited to offer a Finance Apprentice position at our Digbeth Centre in Birmingham. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals at the start of their career, particularly those who have recently completed college or participated in a King's Trust program. As a Finance Apprentice, you will be involved in various functions of our finance department, including statutory reporting, management accounts, suppliers and payments, invoicing and debtors, and supporting the month and year-end processes.
The role is designed for candidates with little to no previous work experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess GCSE English and Maths (Level 4 or A-C grade) or equivalent. This full-time position requires the apprentice to study one day per week towards the Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting.
We are looking for reliable individuals who are eager to learn our IT systems, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. The selection process includes an assessment day and final interviews, with the successful candidate expected to start in September 2026. This 18-month fixed-term contract may lead to a permanent position and further progression depending on the needs of the Trust.
