What will you be doing?
F6IT (pronounced FIT) provides an holistic and family-centred approach to supporting children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, by providing, amongst others, accessible and inclusive sports groups, clubs and much-needed family support hubs to over 100 families/children in the area. Although a fledgling charity, F6IT has ambitious plans over the next 2 years to more than triple its range of services and impact and, in the longer term, build a specialist support facility. As the HR Trustee you would:
Provide strategic guidance and oversight on all HR related matters Ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures with legal requirements Advise the Board on matters related to diversity, equity and inclusion Collaborate with the CEO to assess and secure appropriate workforce skills Ensure appropriate succession planning of key roles within the organisation Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR processes and initiatives Champion open communication and collaboration Identify potential risks with the Board and develop strategies to manage Represent the Charity and build relationships with key stakeholders and partners

Significant HR experience Understanding of Trustee legal responsibilities and liabilities Strategic, incisive with sound judgement and problem solving skills Ability to manage complexity Delivery and quality orientated Excellent communication and organisational skills Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills Create a motivating environment
