Volunteer Safeguarding Trustee

What will you be doing?

We have a safeguarding strategy and our team in Rwanda have undergone training in this area. However, we are missing someone with safeguarding experience on the Board to ensure we are continuing to build capacity within our team in Rwanda and the monitor ongoing implementation of the strategy. Therefore, we are seeking someone with experience in safeguarding to join as a trustee of the board of Children of Rwanda UK. What would you be doing? Ideally, the volunteer would help monitor safeguarding strategy and support with training.  Why is this important? We firmly believe safeguarding is a cornerstone for an organisation like ours that works closely within communities and particularly with children.   

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in safeguarding policy and training.  We are here to give as much support as we can!
