Role Summary:
- Ensure strict compliance with donor requirements and internal policies, maintaining audit readiness.
- Work closely with the Accounting team to translate donor requirements into effective compliance processes.
- Uphold the integrity of financial reports and prepare supporting documentation for complex grants.
Role Requirements:
- A university degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
- At least 2+ years work experience in grant management, compliance or similar fields.
- Advanced Excel and project management skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, French and Kinyarwanda are preferred.

The Role: As a Grants Compliance Officer, you will ensure strict compliance with donor requirements and internal policies, maintaining audit readiness across our diverse grant portfolio. You will collaborate with the Accounting team to translate donor requirements into actionable compliance processes, uphold the integrity of financial reports, and prepare all supporting documentation for complex grants organization-wide. You will report to the Grants Finance Senior Associate and work closely with the broader Grants Finance and Accounting teams.
Job Requirements: - A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 2+ years of work experience in grant management, compliance, or a similar field. - Advanced Excel skills capable of maintaining complex spreadsheets. - Advanced project management skills, capable of solving complex challenges. - Proficiency in English is required; French and Kinyarwanda are preferred.
