What will you be doing?

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Salesforce Developer to help us customise, build and implement our Salesforce for Nonprofits Cloud solution to meet our strategic vision and goals. You will be part of the Data & Analytics team but work closely with and be supported by our CTO, CPO, IT & Engineering teams. Salesforce is being used in a rudimentary way to store data for our main user types but we wish to make it our single source of truth for data and support all areas of the organisation, from program management and operations to marketing and fundraising. We have big ambitions to scale and expand so that we can impact more children and young people. We are also looking to create exciting products such as an Online Learning Platform for students and a People Portal to automate on-boarding and create a collaborative, knowledge-sharing community for our volunteers. Salesforce integrations will be critical to this. You will be joining a fast-growing organisation of over 50 volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets. There are lots of opportunities for you to grow your role, develop the organisation’s data culture or gain skills in other areas.

What are we looking for?

The ideal person will have:

Experience designing and implementing solutions to meet the requirements of the organisation by making the best use of Salesforce for Nonprofits solution End-to-end project experience, from initial requirements gathering and solution design, through development, testing and deployment of the project Experience building out Salesforce data models and schemas and knowledge of data management best practices Continuous Integrated Testing experience (Jenkins or similar) is desirable Hands-on development using configuration, APEX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and various Salesforce.com capabilities, such as; SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, Force.com, Community etc. Experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and web services  Appropriate documentation skills for items listed above Excellent verbal and written communication
