The role of the Financial Controller is a hands-on expert role working on all aspects of financial management, control and reporting on all 8 entities of the group. The role holder will be responsible for the timely delivery of accurate accounting and finance tasks and processes - including the reporting of financial and management accounting information. The role holder will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be based at our London office.
Key duties and responsibilities include being accountable for the month end process and ensuring quality control, being hands-on with bookkeeping including actioning of postings and control of accuracy, running finance operations processes such as revenue recognition, prepayment, fixed assets, general ledger, delivering all Balance Sheet reconciliations as part of the monthly management accounts process, and preparing Statutory financial statements at entity level.
Job requirements include being fully qualified or qualification finalist with ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualification overseas, having 3+ years professional experience in accounting and finance, advanced knowledge of Excel, and familiarity with UK GAAP, ideally US GAAP, ideally broader international finance exposure.
