What will you be doing?

(A) Financial planning, analysis, management and services:

Recommend and/or implement cost saving and reduction strategies including cost recovery strategies and cost effective financial arrangements. Review, recommend and implement and/or verify financial transactions/activities, recording/reporting system and audit reports and ensure full compliance with and consistent approach to the IYF financial rules, regulations and financial policies and procedures. Review, recommend and oversee the financial business processes and use of the online system to ensure accurate and complete reporting of financial transactions by IYF staff in accordance with the Financial Regulations and Delegation of Authority (DoA) and the timely flow of financial information in the IYF for management, monitoring and oversight purposes. Financial analysis and oversight for all resources managed by the IYF and provision of high-quality professional advice to the IYF Senior Management Team (SMT). Prepare all financial reports in accordance with the standards and ensure continued compliance. Co-ordinate with HQ on finance-related suggestions for amendments. Facilitate the pre-audit preparations for financial management of the organization as required.

  (B) Support resource mobilization efforts:

Assistance with tracking and reporting of contributions within the resource mobilization efforts, including pipeline, contracted and overdue and future milestones. Review of aged contributions receivables and provision of information to BOM Director for follow up. Review and provide financial clearance of all donor agreements as delegated for compliance with standard agreements. Continuous analysis and monitoring of the financial situation, presentation of forecasts for development and management projects.

  (C) Support knowledge sharing and capacity building:

Lead the Implementation of the approved finance training plans in conjunction with Finance Commission. Provide guidance, direction and technical supervision of finance staff as needed.

What are we looking for?

Three years of experience and results preferred at the national level in a fund management role, accounting/finance, fundraising, youth empowerment role, training, development, communications, international relations, capacity building, sport, women empowerment, youth-led organizations or another relevant field.
